Children's Home

We have seen a number of children brought to our clinic and just abandoned. We were caring for a handful of abandoned Children and just loved these little ones. We decided to provide a safe and nurturing home for them. In late 2005, a home for these children was begun. It is now complete and is a first class facility. The “Children’s Home” is a beautiful and nurturing facility. There is a play area and covered veranda for the children to play outside. A second Children’s Home is being used for some of the older children.

Some of the over 40 children in our care live in the home of a staff member—it is better for them because they have a family. They give these children a home with parents. These children are given a lot of love and a chance at a future.

These children are either abandoned or orphaned and are growing up in a safe and nurturing home.

We consider it an honor to raise these children. The cost of caring for a child is about $ 100 per month. There is a support program for each one of these children. We currently have over 40 children in our care. We desire to see them grow up and receive the best education possible.

IFC has supported and continues to give support to other orphanages in North Sualwesi and North Maluku. We stand with other groups who are making good efforts to care for other children in the region.
