  • Agricultural projects: 100 fruit trees have been planted along with vegetable gardens to provide food for our staff and the poor in our region.
  • Burn Patients: Due to the large numbers of burn injuries coming to our clinic. We appreciate the help in purchasing specialize burn supplies.
  • Children’s Medical Funds: These funds will be used for the medical needs of children. We have many children who need surgeries. There will be some children we bring to the U.S. or Australia, others will be treated in Indonesia. This fund will be used to cover all needs (transportation, visas, passports, surgery and any other cost associated with their care). Currently we have these children needing help—Yulce Dailongi, La Tison, Billie, Billy Ponto and Indra.
  • Children's Home: Supports a child for $ 100 per month or helps build a second children's home . Some people are providing partial support for our children.
  • General Fund: Give to IFC to use where needed.
  • Leper Rehabilitation: This region of Indonesia has the highest density of lepers in the Southern Hemisphere. IFC has built eight living units to house the lepers who come to us for treatment.
  • Medical Relief: Sends support to improve the health conditions for the poor in this region. Medical clinic treats 160-200 people weekly.
  • Medical Training Funds: Two of our staff have been accepted into medical school, six in nursing training, two in dental, two as midwives and a pharmacist. They will need extensive help to pay for the schooling. When they complete their training they will take over the leadership of our medical work.
  • T.B. Treatment: T.B. is a huge issue in this region. A home has been built to house those T.B. patients who come to our base for help.
  • Transportation Needs: We always have need for better vehicles. We are currently tying to buy better (new) vehicles. The roads are not the best and the need to go into the jungle trails can take the life out of a reasonably good vehicle. The costs of vehicles (especially 4x4) are very expensive. We are in need of a reliable 4x4.
  • Water & Hygiene: Help supply fresh water for rebuilding and restoring communities. Well drilling projects have been successful and further development is necessary.
  • Other…write in comments (or memo) where you want the funds donated.
  • The director for IFC US is supported by friends. No funds designated for relief work projects will be used for salaries, airfare, office use or any other administrative purpose.
