IFC US Director Carl Cady

Carl Cady is the U.S. Director for International Friends of Compassion. He went to Indonesia in 2000 and witnessed the needs of the displaced thousands and wanted to get involved in assisting them. After seeing the conditions and listening to the stories of suffering Carl could not just leave and go back to the routines of life back home.

He came back to the U.S. to start a non-profit to meet these basic needs. Carl met Peter and Esther Scarborough who came to work medically with the displaced in North East Indonesia. They built a partnership based on respect and the common concern for the poor and needy.

Carl travels internationally to advocate for the care of the poor and organizes teams to join in meeting the goals of IFC. The capable leadership of the IFC Board of Directors now stands with these people and their future lives.
