The Fleet

These look like three nice vehicles but they are actually three miracle models. The funds were given by some amazing people who experienced rides in our old “fleet”. We owned some vehicles over the last five years that were falling apart and always in need of repair. We never owned a decent vehicle. I have been broken down on the side of the road with each one of our old vehicles. There was one where the floorboard had big holes and when you would go through a puddle in the road—you would get a splash on the legs. I was in another one that the tire just fell off. Wipers did not work on another. I could go down the list but the old “fleet” was always breaking down or even dangerous.

This new fleet will allow our staff, teams and children to travel the roads on the remote island in safety. The stress and unreliability of constantly breaking down will be a thing of the past. Vehicles in this region are expensive and even one in poor condition is high priced. We feel very blessed to have these new vehicles that will serve our work for many years.
