Relief Programs for the Refugees

IFC is committed to meeting the physical and emotional needs of Indonesia's former refugees and the poor through a long term recovery model. We seek to daily touch the lives of these people through compassion and by meeting their basic needs. Staff members have not only been trained and equipped to work with those afflicted but they have also earned their respect by offering sensitive, thoughtful and consistent care.

Many former refugees have suffered deeply through great personal loss and tragedy and IFC responds to such vulnerability with understanding and dignity. We are committed to the restoration of a complete person, not only outward needs (body) but the inner needs by showing respect and compassion. Through this emphasis, it is our goal to assist wherever possible in establishing them in an honorable and dignified way.

The programs listed in this section represent the basic but not comprehensive needs of the refugees. IFC works as broadly as possible with other agencies and responds in a prioritized manner in accordance to our funding.
